LVMPD is well known as a highly professional and well-respected police department throughout the United States.

Fortunately, I’ve had the pleasure of being their sole graphic artist for over 23 years.

While not the official photographer for the department but knowing I dabbled with photography, I was asked by the logistics director if I would be willing to take a few images for a submission to the 2014 NAUMD Best Dressed Public Safety Awards.

Working together we made a few calls to different sections of the department (i.e. Traffic, Corrections, Honor Guard) and arranged to meet at Headquarters. We made it happen and ultimately captured the win for 2014’s Departments Over 3,000 Officers.
